I have decided that, for any CSC220 or CSC343 student who turns in
at least 4 of the 5 assignments for Fall 2020, I will record
the greater of the mean (average) and the median of the project
grades as the semester grade. Any assignment not turned in counts as 
0%, and you must turn in 4 assignments before I will consider the median.
That means that if you bombed one or even two projects, the median
discards them. If you did well on the first 4, you can skip the 5th
if you want. The median discards BOTH the bottom two grades
AND the top two grades and uses the one in the middle. I will let you
know where you stand on the median after you complete Assignment 4,
due December 3. If you are satisfied with your median grade AND have
turned in all 4 projects, you can skip Final Assignment 5. If you have
turned in only 3 assignments, you must do Final Assignment 5, but I will
still grade the semester as the median if it is better than the mean.
