Some of my research is to create a Network Management System for Heterogeneous Multi-tier Networks (HMNs) using ontology. A preliminary Heterogeneous Multi-tier Network Management System (HMNMS) has been developed.

Intrusion Detection

I have also done research on the design and development of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) using ontology. The Traffic-based Reasoning Intrusion Detection System using Ontology (TRIDSO) is based on generalized attack trees and will detect complex attacks and attack attempts.
