Hello to all of my students and welcome to my KU faculty website!

I am offering four courses this spring 2008 semester: Two sections of Principles of Sociology (SOC 010; Mondays from 12:00-2:50 p.m. and Wednesdays from 6:00-8:50 p.m.), Methods of Social Research (SOC 350; Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12:00-1:20 p.m.) and Social Gerontology (SOC 290; Tuesdays & Thursdays from 1:30-2:50 p.m.).  The semester begins on January 14th and will end on May 3rd, 2008.

Course syllabi are available for my spring 2008 courses at KU.  To obtain a course syllabus, go to the first drop down menu below, click the arrow, find your course and click to open the syllabus.  Then save the syllabus you need to your hard drive and print it out.

Several of my PowerPoint presentations also are available.  Just go to the second drop down menu below to download each to your computer.  Note that you will need MS PowerPoint software installed on your PC to review these presentations.  Once the file is downloaded and opened, press the F5 function key to view the presentation as a slideshow.  Simply click to advance each slide.

Please bookmark this website and check back periodically as I will add more PowerPoint presentations throughout the semester, other course material, and provide course cancellation notices in the event of inclement weather.  Click the "Weather Underground" icon to the left for the latest conditions in Kutztown, PA.

Of course, click on my email address above to ask me any questions or just say "hi."  Good luck this spring 2008 semester in all of your classes and I look forward to seeing you on campus!
