The Italian American
Experience

The Italian American Experience is a term coined during the time of the
great Italian migration to American which occurred from 1880 - 1930. Today, most
Italian Americans are second or third generation Americans, but they continue to
be a proud and accomplished people with an abiding interest in their rich
heritage.
The Rohrbach Library at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania actively supports
their Italian American students and those individual interested in Italian
American studies. This site focuses on Italian American research and advancement opportunities
for Americans of Italian descent.
