More Using Solver

 

Once you have completed entering the necessary information in the ‘Solver Parameters’ dialog, it should look similar to this.

 

 

3.      We also need to set our variables to be >= 0.

·         We could enter this as another constraint (as shown).

·         Or we can have solver enforce this limitation by setting the Solver Options. When working on problems for MAT121, you should always set the options.  

 

 

4.      Click the “Solve” Button.  Note that your worksheet has now changed as shown below.
