The landscape of Earth as we see it today is the result of geologic processes that have shaped our planet for billions of years.  These processes continue to alter Earth’s surface and its interior, forming mountains and beaches, creating mineral resources and fossil fuels, and triggering shocking natural disasters.  In this course students will explore dynamic Earth processes by analyzing and interpreting Earth materials, maps, cross sections, earthquake and volcanic activity, and other types of scientific data.
