SUBJECT: Geometry – 7th Grade TOPIC: Discovering Pi TITLE: "Pumpkin Pi" INTERACTIVITY: The students will have to pick each of the four pumpkins off of the bulletin board to read the problem on the back. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Take pumpkin/Jack O’ Lantern #1 off the bulletin board. Solve the problem on the back, using this worksheet to show your work. Then take pumpkin/Jack O’ Lantern #2 and solve the problem on the back. Continue until you have solved all the pumpkins. Show all your work below. TIME: 5 minutes SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION: The pumpkins are on magnets so that the students can take them off easily to see the problem on the back. The border is caution tape that says "CAUTION: ENTER IF YOU DARE." CREDIT: The students will get two extra credit points for completing this bulletin board. Amy Wolfe
