Welcome (Benvenuti) to a synopsis of my life as a teacher for the past 25 plus years.  I have taught and continue to teach all levels of college composition, literature surveys, women's literature, Italian and Women's Studies courses. My teaching abroad experience includes classes at Telfes, Austria, and in Italy at Bressanone, Montecatini, Ravenna, and Fiuggi.  In 1994, I was selected for a two week exchange lectureship at  the Russian Diplomatic Academy in  Moscow.

I have taught in the public schools of New Castle, DE; Bethlehem and Reading PA; and at Northampton Community College, in Bethlehem, PA. Presently, I am on the faculty of  Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA, and for the past six years I have been the Coordinator of the Composition Program. My special interests are the pedagogy of writing and women's language and literature.
