2008 Psychology Student Research Conference

Kutztown University's Chapter of Psi Chi and the Lehigh Valley Psychological Association co-sponsored the 4th Annual Psychology Student Research Conference on March 24 2008. A total of 20 posters were presented by 37 students from Kutztown University, East Stroudsburg University, and Alvernia College.. The event was held at Kutztown University's Student Union Building, attracting over 300 students from the area.

Dr. Peter Langman, Director of Kids Peace and author of the upcoming book Inside the Minds of School Shooters was our conference speaker. He gave a 110 minute presentation entitled Pathways to Rampage: The Psychology of School Shooters. About 120 people attended from psychology, criminal justice, education. social work, and school counseling.

The 5th Annual Psychology Student Conference is tentatively scheduled for
Monday, April 13 2009
