On November 16 2005, seventeen psychology majors in collaboration with Drs.
Anita Meehan, Avidan Milevsky, Robert Ryan, and Steven Oross of Kutztown
University and Dr. David Livert of Penn State University presented their
research in poster format at Kutztown University. The event attracted
more than 400 students from Kutztown University and Penn State University.
In addition to the poster presentation, KU alumni Matthew Heinly (’96) presented
his latest research on Malingering entitled “Does Money Make People Sicker?
Validating Measures to Detect Maliingerers.”
Promotions for Psychology Club, Psi Chi,
Lehigh Valley Psychological Association (LVPA
), and KU Research Assistant Recruitment were also showcased at the event.
Raquel Akillas, Kutztown University, organized the event in collaboration
with Dr. Peter Behrnes, LVPA and Kutztown University’s Psi Chi officers, Melissa
