The library’s Annual Autumn Auction will be held on Friday, October 22nd at the Northampton Memorial Community Center. The doors open at 6:00 PM and the drawing will begin at 8:00 PM. The Community Center will be selling food. We have more than 400 items including gift cards, baskets, a signed Eagles football, and much more! Tickets are $5 in advance or $6 at the door.

The Friends of NAPL are selling t-shirts with the 2010 summer program theme, “Make a Splash @ Your Library”. Click here for more information and a picture of the shirt.
6:30 and a Book will be meeting on October 27th to discuss “When the Emperor Was Divine” by Julie Otsuka. Click here for more information.
The library’s next Stitch-In will be held on Wednesday, October 6th, at 6:30 PM. Click here for more information.
The next meeting of the Civil War Discussion Group will be held on Wednesday, October 20th at 6:30 PM. The group is FREE and open to the public. No pre-registration is required. For further information, contact Dick Stewart at (610) 261-4331.
The library will be closing at 5:00 PM on Thursday, October 21st for the Jack Frost Parade.
The next Friends of NAPL meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 26th at 7:00 PM.
The Friends of NAPL have purchased a disc repair machine for the library! As a service to our patrons, we are willing to clean and repair your music CDs, DVDs, Books on CD, CD-ROMs, or system games for a donation of $2 each, limit 5 discs per month per patron. For more information, ask any library staff member.
The library and the Friends of NAPL are selling the following items: Enjoy the City coupon books are $20; library miniatures are $15; Discount Savings Cards are $5 each; NAPL zippered tote bags are $5 each; adult t-shirts are $3 each; children’s t-shirts are $2 each; and Gertrude Hawk candy bars are $1 each. Stop by the library and pick up some of these great items.
