There will be a 5% deduction from a homework assignment for repeated web surfing, web-based chatting or other use of the Internet for activities unrelated to class activities during both lectures and working sessions. Introduction to Mac OSX Leopard.
There is a useful blog site on digital photography at http://blogs.zdnet.com/digitalcameras. It includes a lot of advertisements, but there are useful how-to articles as well. If you pick a topic using its menu, you can tunnel down to a collection of articles.
Here is a Java Utility for searching JPEG files in a folder for GPS location tags. CAUTION: There is no way to stop this utility once it starts searching, so be careful what Folder you tell it to search! If the folder is big, this takes a long time to finish. I will add an "abort" option when I get time.
