The template posted below, NewNote.the, will graph 3-D surfaces with the origin (0, 0, 0) centered at the intersection of the x–, y–, and z-axes, as you would normally prefer.
After downloading it onto your computer, unzip and move the file into the following location:
• On a Mac, into the folder /Library/Application Support/LiveMath.
• On a Windows PC, into the folder C:/Program Files/LiveMath/.
Quit LiveMath and relaunch it. Does a new Notebook show up with your own custom settings?
