Equation of a Line (1)
When slope m and (x1, y1) are given:
This LiveMath Notebook guides you through a process of finding the equation of a line when we are given the slope m of the line and the coordinates (x1, y1) of a point on the line.
Change
the values of m and (x1, y1) in
the Notebook. The rest of the Notebook, including the graph, will
change automatically.
On the right side of the graph window, all tools are functional. Also, you can freely reposition the graph by holding down and moving a mouse on the graph.
