Video Recording
 
The instructor first connects an iPod to the iRecord through a standard USB connection. Once the PowerCam Presenter and the iRecord are powered up, both video and audio are streamed automatically onto the iPod. No user interaction is needed.

A major goal of this project was to minimize user interactions with the installed hardware, which would be distractive to the instructor. As long as the user follows a prescribed power-up and power-down procedure correctly before the iPod is plugged in and taken out, the system should perform its intended task of video-recording the lecture onto the iPod.
