| Publishing the Feed Here is the final stage. You will now publish (=upload) your feed and its accompanying media file(s) to a web server. From the menu, choose File > Publish Feed. ![]() Then, you will see this window: ![]() Click on New. In the next window, from Type, choose Standard FTP/FTPS. ![]() In the next window, feel free to use any name for Site Name. That’s between you and FeedForAll. But, the other items are important. FTP Server: faculty.kutztown.edu Protocol: Standard FTP (Select PASV) ![]() Click on Browse. Then, FeedForAll will attempt to connect to the web server you specified. If connection is successful, you will see the window below. Note Succeeded at the bottom. The tilde (~) indicates that you are currently reaching the root directory of your website on the FTP server. You should change this location. ![]() Populate Create new folder with the same name as the name of the corresponding local directory that houses your feed on your local drive. Then, click on Create. If the creation of the folder on the web server is successful, you will now see the window below. At the top, you will see that your location on the FTP server has changed from the home directory ~/ to the new directory ~/Podcast. ![]() Click on Accept. Then, click on Done in the previous window. Now, you will see the window below. Choose Upload XML (which is your xml file). Choose Upload Enclosures and click on the triangle. Then, select your mp3 file. ![]() Now, with a big smile on your face, click on Publish. Your xml file and its accompanying mp3 file will be published (=uploaded) to the web server.
