How to find the score you need on the final
You can use the formula below to find how many points you need on the final to earn a target grade (TG) on a 0 – 100% scale.
   
 Step 1. Figure out the following numbers:
  quiz_total = add the top 5 quiz scores
  bonus_total = add all bonus points
  exam_total = add all three exam scores
   
 Step 2. Decide which grade you shoot for:
 
For example, if you are going for an A, then the minimum cumulative performance you need is  90%  after the final. So, let  TG = 90.
   
 Step 3. The score you need on the final to reach  TG = 90  is computed by the following formula:
