Yours Truly answers: After you open a PDF file in Acrobat Reader and issue a print command, you will see a window that looks like this:
 

 
Pull down the Page Scaling menu and choose Reduce to Printer Margins. Then, click on Print. The file should now print within the margins of the printer.
