Campus Beautification Committee
Mission Statement
The Campus Beautification committee makes recommendations
as to ways the campus can be beautified both internally and externally. It also solicits the cooperation of all
members of the university community in keeping the campus beautiful.
The committee’s recommendations should be sought for
future analysis involving change and usage of green space (i.e.: parking lots,
playing fields, buildings, and landscaping); additionally, this committee
should be utilized and consulted in the selection and sitting of
sculpture. Murals, restoration, and
preservation projects should also be the concern of this committee.
Campus Beautification
Committee Operating Rules
- The Committee includes the position of a chairperson
and a secretary;
- Whenever possible the committee operates by
consensus; and,
- If voting is necessary a quorum of five of the nine
members of the committee must be present.
