Steve B. Lem is an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at Kutztown University.
He completed his B.A. (political science) at East Stroudsburg University in 2002. He subsequently completed his M.A. (political science) and Ph.D. (political science) at Binghamton University in 2005 and 2008 respectively. Dr. Lem joined the faculty at Kutztown University in the fall of 2008.

In addition to his typical course offerings, Dr. Lem provides advanced undergraduate quantitative methodology training for interested students via independent studies and/or individualized instruction. During the semester, these students typically prepare a professional-level quantitative research paper. Students' works have been presented at Berks County Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference and the Midwest Political Science Annual Conference.
Dr. Lem also serves as the Internship Coordinator for Political Science majors.
