Of course, you can always overwrite an existing matrix with a new one. But, the following procedure deletes a matrix for good.

We will try to delete this matrix for good. |

| Press 2ND then MEM (above the + button). Then, you will see this: |

| Press 2 to select 2: Mem Mgmt/Del…. Then, you will see this: |

Press 5 to select 5: Matrix…. Then, you will see this:
If multiple matrices ([A], [B], etc.) are listed, use the cursor to move the triangle to the matrix you want to delete. |

| Press DEL. The matrix [A] disappears. |

| To check that the matrix has really been deleted, press 2ND then MATRIX (above the x–1 button). It is gone. |
