The procedure below will reset the RAM of the TI. It brings the calculator back to the state when it was shipped from a factory.
 
What to Enter Screen Shots
Press 2ND then MEM (above the + button).
Then, you will see this:
Press 7 to select 7:↓Reset.
Then, you will see this:
Press 1 to select 1:All RAM…
Then, you will see this:
Press 2 to select 2:Reset.
Then, you will see this:
Press ENTER. Then, you are done.
Turn off the TI and turn it back on.
• If you see a cursor blinking, you are all set.
• If nothing appears on the screen that gives you the impression that the TI is not on, it is because the screen contrast has been reset as well. Press 2ND. Then, press and hold the UP cursor to make the screen come alive.
