The
above is a list of interactive mathematics files that are viewable in any browser on any computer.
The list is continually expanding. In your own browser, you can change values of variables in expressions and see changes take place in graphs and others in real time. Hold down a mouse on a graph and move it. The graph will move in 2D and rotate in 3D! Use the tools on the right of a graph to zoom into any part of the graph. You will like it—this is a really neat stuff! Do not worry about messing things up. You can always revert to the original state of a Notebook by reloading the page in your browser. So, go ahead and experiment as much as you want. When you click on a topic in the above list, your browser will ask that a plug-in, called LiveMath Plug-In, be downloaded if it is not already installed on your computer. Choose a plug-in for your OS and browser, fill in a Download Form, and begin the download. The plug-ins support many browsers on Mac OS & Windows OS. When the download is complete, I recommend that you quit and relaunch your browser. Then, the browser should show a LiveMath Notebook for the selected topic. If you see many garbled characters in the Notebook, try opening the same Notebook in a different browser. The
Notebooks listed on this page were created in LiveMath
Maker (computer algebra system). Active links are in blue. |
