 bonus (n.) Anything given in addition to the customary amount.

Let  b  be the total bonus points you accumulate during the semester. Then, your grade will be determined by the following formula:

A1. You earned 100/100 on the exam, plus 7 bonus points going into the b in the above formula.

A2. You earned 10/10 on the quiz, plus 2 bonus points going into the b in the above formula.

Q3. I got 3/5 on a stand-alone bonus quiz. How is the 3 points factored into my grade?
A3. Any bonus is part of the b in the above formula.

A4. You missed it.
